  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional

Method
 

  1. Add milk, heavy cream, and sea salt to the crockpot. Set to low heat and warm for 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk cocoa powder with 1/2 cup warmed milk in a bowl until smooth. Return to crockpot and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Add chopped dark and milk chocolates, stirring every 15 minutes until melted, about 45-60 minutes.
  4. Stir in sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and cayenne (if using). Adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. Continue cooking on low for 30-45 minutes, whisking every 20 minutes until smooth and steaming.
